On December 5th, 2024, the Rwanda Organisation of Persons with Deaf-Blindness (ROPDB) successfully held its Annual Meeting at the ROPDB offices in Kigali. The meeting brought together stakeholders, members, donors, and advocates to review the year's achievements and plan for the future.
Key highlights of the meeting included a review of project milestones achieved in 2024, financial accountability reports, and strategic planning for 2025. Members discussed the progress made in the national dialogue on deaf-blindness recognition and celebrated the growing number of identified persons with deaf-blindness across Rwanda's districts.
The meeting reaffirmed ROPDB's commitment to its mission of empowering persons with deaf-blindness through advocacy, education, and community engagement.
